You man put this down to a lucky conincidence but in fact the psychologist Carl Jung put a name to it - he called it 'synchronicity'. The idea of synchronicity is that we are all part of the universal unsconcious - humans - animals - the earth itself - the sun and the moon and the universive. Like a never ending spiral that at a deep unconscious levels connects all things. This means that we can iinfluence the universal unconscious by our thoughts. So we send out a thought about someone we have not seen for a long time - then the thought is somehow picked up by that person at an unconscious level and so they decide to contact us - a case of synchronicty.
